Give everyone access to the arts

BUILD WITH US

Why does art matter?

Communities without public art are more disconnected with less social support networks. Audiences need art that is accessible across a wide spectrum of income and ability levels so that all members of the community can participate.

Why dance for all?

Dance is a unique part of the cultural and social fabric of our society:

  • it integrates physical and mental health
  • it builds creativity and resilience
  • it provides a space for people of all backgrounds to connect
  • it fosters a sense of belonging and reduces social isolation
Become a Monthly Donor

We regularly send short video works (anywhere from 30 sec to 5 minutes) to Synapse Arts' monthly donors- our way to thank you!

Quality Pro Presentations

We support the development of new artistic works by focusing on support for artists themselves. We pay artists fair wages and value process over product so that our artists can do their best work and create high quality performances.

Professional Development

Our New Works program sponsors underrepresented choreographers with a focus on supporting women, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC artists. We connect artists with one another to share resources and develop their voices, fostering agents of change in the cultural economy of our city, nation, and world.
