Synapse Arts is looking for enthusiastic arts-interested individuals to serve on our Board!

We’re looking for members who have an interest in any of the following areas of our mission: dance and performance, supporting LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC artists, and community arts programming for kids and adults.

Board members need to attend quarterly zoom meetings and give advice, but also be willing to share their expertise outside of meetings as needed to coach staff through specific projects as our organization grows, with an average time commitment of 2-5 hours per month.

We're particularly looking for people with expertise or interest in the following areas:

* Accounting and/or bookkeeping
* Sponsorship PR and messaging
* Business management, including Operations and HR
* Community Relationships

Instead of a minimum annual gift, board members are expected to make Synapse one of their top three charitable/volunteer pursuits during the year.
